Custom Impression Kit Instruction

Please read all instructions before working on your impression

Impression Kit includes:

 * 1 Upper impression tray (U SHAPE)

* 1 Lower impression tray (V SHAPE WITH EMPTY CENTER)

* Blue & Yellow(White) putty Impression Material (different as picture’s display)

* 2 Most commonly used color of teeth (please return)

   Color number # A1.A2

Step 1.

Brush your teeth and wash your hands. Put the gloves on and measure the impression trays, make sure both impression trays can fit in your mouth.

Step 2.

If you are doing both upper & lower trays. 1 ball of yellow(white) and 1 ball of blue would work for each tray.

THE TRAY ON THE LEFT IS FOR UPPER IMPRESSION.THE TRAY ON THE RIGHT IS FOR LOWER IMPRESSION.

**If you will do Lower impression first, mix 1 blue ball and 1 yellow/white ball. DO NOT open and mix the other two cups!!

Set a timer for 40 seconds. Mix the blue and yellow putty very well by kneading (press & fold) for 40 seconds.

Step 3.

Once the putty turn into solid blue color No white shown.

Put putty into tray and distribute evenly to cover the whole tray. Distribute the putty to touch the top of the tray wall. If you are doing a partial, make sure to distribute more putty where your missing teeth are.

Step 4.

Take the tray with putty in it. In front of a mirror, tilt your head slightly downward and look into the mirror while carefully inserting the tray into your mouth. Make sure your teeth are in the center of the putty and push the tray against your teeth & gum until all teeth touch the bottom of the tray below the putty (all teeth and gum need to be deep in the putty). Hold the tray in your mouth for 5 minutes.

Pull your lips out of the way and then in one swift motion, USE YOUR FINGERS to push the tray DEEP, DEEP, DEEP (AS FAR AS IT CAN GO), into your teeth and gums. Your teeth should touch the bottom of the tray. 

UPPER IMPRESSION: Remember to also press the tray into the roof of your mouth.

Step 5.

After 4-5 minutes, open your mouth and pull straight up or down, depending on which tray you are using, to remove the tray from teeth and then pull tray forward to remove from your mouth. Be careful NOT to change the shape of the impression when taking out. Repeat steps 2-4 for the upper teeth with upper tray. Do NOT remove the putty from their trays after taking the impressions. Rinse both impressions with warm water, and then let them completely air dry.

Step 6.

Check the impression, make sure the missing teeth and both adjacent teeth are clear, and the gum is showing.

Step 7.

Take the teeth sample and compare with your teeth under natural sunlight (Warm color lamp may cause teeth to look darker) Write down the closest color number which is showing on the right top of the teeth board. (Don’t worry about the size of the shape of the teeth, we will find the right size and shape according to your impression).

Step 8.

Email pictures of both impressions for review and approval

Please include your name.

It is important that the teeth impression is NOT touching the front of the tray but that it is in the center of the arched putty.

Also, please make sure the teeth go all the way through the putty and touch the bottom of the tray. Do NOT remove putty from the trays. After they are completely dry, place the two impressions inside a plastic sandwich bag and close the bag.

STEP 9.

Take photos of your impressions and send to:

• Etsy or WebDentalArt Messages (if you ordered from there) OR

• Email: webdentalgroupinc@gmail.com

After approval through Etsy/WebDentalArt.com message or text, you can return BOTH impressions and ALL the teeth color samples into the package that we provided. Return shipping is not included, and buyers will have to ship their own impressions back after their impressions are approved.

PLEASE make sure to wait for approval through message or text before shipping the impressions.
